A Strength Based Approach to Helping Couples & Individuals with Gaps in Sexual Desire & Low Libido with Dr. Neil Cannon – Saturday, April 11th, 9-11 am
This workshop will help clinicians explore new ways to be more effective and confident treating individuals and couples who have a gap in sexual desire and / or a low libido. This is ideal for everyone from student therapists to highly experienced clinicians.
This workshop is fast-paced and informative. Whether you are a student therapist, a couples counselor, or a certified sex therapist, if you treat issues related to low libido or desire discrepancy, you won’t want to miss this. We will explore straightforward and effective ways to assess individuals and couples. Dr. Cannon will help clinicians see how a good assessment is the foundation of positive outcomes and change.
Following the assessment process, we will focus on unique approaches and interventions that Dr. Cannon has used to help countless couples save relationships. At the core of this workshop is practicality. Whether you work with straight folks or LGBTQ folks, clinicians will walk out of the workshop with new approaches they can apply to their work the very next day.

Dr. Neil Cannon is an AASECT Certified Sex Therapist & Supervisor. Neil is also a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist who has been treating individuals and couples with low libido and gaps in sexual desire for approximately 15 years. Neil is in private practice in Denver, Colorado. Neil has supervised more than 100 AASECT Certified Sex Therapists and clinicians in the process of getting certified. Neil has been teaching Sexual Diversity at Denver Family Institute since 2007. Neil is also an instructor at The University of Michigan Sexual Health Certificate Program.
